ALEX DE GRASSI
Alex has a rich history as a master Fingerstyle player, we are happy to say he is officially a Dyer Harp Guitar Artist. Alex was a huge part of Windham Hill Records at it's peak where he found himself on some of the largest stages in the world performing at such notable venues as the Montreux Jazz Festival, Carnegie Hall, Belfast International Festival, Telluride, and Wolftrap. Alex earned a Grammy award for his 1998 release "Water Garden" (a must have fingerstyle album). His jouney with the harp guitar started with an incredible Fred Carlson Creation of the Flying Dream where Alex played a beautiful rendition of "Greensleeves" (below). Alex was a featured artist at the latest HG 12 were he performed 2 of his latest compositions. Alex lives in Northern CA and currently working on his new album that will profile some of his new Harp Guitar Tunes! Alex is currently on tour in Europe with his Dyer Style 8 shown on the left.
